What it's all about
The year is 2037: Volkswagen - a symbol of German engineering - collapses. With the demise of the car industry, the country sinks into an unprecedented economic crisis. Unemployment rises, cities fall into disrepair, the political order collapses. An alliance of extreme parties bans cars. While some celebrate it as climate protection, others use it to isolate themselves. Mobility becomes the privilege of the elite. In the midst of these dramatic developments, a secret circle is forming: some call it resistance, others a silent funeral service, others a final homage to a bygone era, others simply FINAL CELEBRATION.
That's why you should come
With the interdisciplinary live performance and installation, NULLNULLEINS invites you to a unique happening as part of the Sommerblut Kulturfestival: For one evening, the former Dresen car dealership will be transformed into an extraordinary event location.
Pssst!
NULLNULLEINS is a laboratory for interdisciplinary interaction that focuses on artistic experimentation and joint reflection with guests from the fields of composition, performance, choreography, directing, philosophy and sociology, among others. Over 20 young artists from the fields of composition, interpretation of new music, musicology and dance have been working together in a collective process for FINAL CELEBRATION since October 2024.
