Big Bääm

That's what it's all about
The end of MAD PRIDE is the beginning of BIG BÄÄM. It's going to be nice and noisy and a bit heavy. You can expect poetic and energetic performances by musical acts such as BUNTES HERZ, Pablonski, Trommelwerk and Äh Nein. Clever and valuable speeches are also on the program. Kerstin Pöpper and Patrizia Kubanek will accompany us as moderators through the closing event of the Sommerblut Festival. We celebrate together, relieve frustration, empower each other and have a good time together.
Why you have to come
For the first time, the BIG BÄÄM will take place in the courtyard of the Alte Feuerwache - you can't miss it!
Featuring:
Trommelwerk, a mixed-abled orchestra of teenagers and young adults, makes us shake with its groovy, funky sounds.
Pablonski Bader poetically poses questions of identity in humorous lyrics that are thought-provoking and go straight to the heart. He accompanies these with loops of mouth percussion.
BUNTES HERZ really heat up the crowd with their dynamic melodic fusion of 'western-influenced' rock and folklore from the Middle East. Emotional vocals in German, Kurdish, Turkish, Arabic and Kölsch on the themes of homeland and expulsion, coupled with rousing rhythms are convincing and show that it's all in the mix!
Äh Nein! are: Souleymane Fall(vocals), Camillo Grewe(piano, vocals), Robert Trutnau(piano, vocals), Tom Schaechter(guitar, vocals) The inclusive band project with artists from Kunsthaus Kat18 put on moving performances with covers of well-known pop songs, original compositions and improvisation that leave no one untouched.
Celebrate the Big Bääm with us!
