Until the Beginnings
What it's all about
Carried by global rhythms, Until the Beginnings presents an energetic dance poem. On stage: an international team of eight dancers from Senegal, Germany and France together with percussionists and spoken word musicians.
Choreographer Stephanie Thiersch (artistic director of “MOUVOIR”) and Alesandra Seutin (artistic director of the “École des Sables”) weave a choreographic fabric from their different worlds: with a wild mix of urban, contemporary and traditional dance styles, they question the nature of hospitality. Current political entanglements in the criminalization of hospitality in many parts of the world are the main focus. As well as images of utopian spaces for communities.
Why should you come?
The team goes on a journey to deconstruct the concept of "home". Within the net of cycles and connections, they explore the possibility of a common groove.
